The festive mallard replaces the mallard under certain garden conditions.
Attracting[]
Festive mallards will visit your garden if it is snowing in your garden; a Festive Tree, Ice Flower or completed Snowman is required to make it snow.
Keeping Away[]
The only way to deter festive mallards is to plant mushrooms in your garden. Mushrooms only repel festive mallards when they are fully grown; once they are fruiting/ready for harvest, they lose their deterrent powers. The Fairytale Toadstool does not deter the festive mallard.
